自家製 pesto sauce and garlic bread

Pesto sauce pasta Ingredients (for 4 people) 2 cup fresh basil leaves 1/2 cup fresh Romano or Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil 1/3 cup pine nuts (if pine nut is raw, toasted before used) 3 cloves garlic (minced) Salt and ground black pepper (Ingredients in the photo is for 2 people)

Steps 1. Put basil leaves and pine nuts in a food processor (can use crush grinder if you don’t have a food processor) 2. Add garlic and cheese to the food processor 3. Pour olive oil slowly in the processor 4. Season the pesto sauce 5. Put pasta in boiling water 6. Mix pesto sauce into pasta. Sprinkle cheese on top (Optional: chicken)

Garlic bread Ingredients: 2 tablespoon butter 4 cloves garlic (crushed) Herbs: parsley, basil (can be only one; or dried herbs) Baguette/ sourdough Parmesan cheese / Parmigiana Reggiana (optional)

Steps: 1. Pre-heat oven 175 degrees C 2. Soften butter (put in microwave 1-2 minutes if necessary) 4. Chop garlic 5. Chop herbs 6. Mix butter, garlic and herbs together 7. Spread garlic butter on bread 8. Put in the oven for 10 mins
